Biden launches Philippe Georgia Fund ahead of main vote to raise funds for Warnock, Osaf

President-elect Joe Biden announced on Thursday the launch of a “Flip Georgia Fund” urging supporters to donate to the campaigns of Democratic candidates John Osof and Rafael Warnock ahead of the state’s crucial election vote. “The Georgia Senate runs are important – this is why I will be traveling there next Tuesday,” Biden wrote on Twitter. “But we must all do our part to ensure we win these races. If you can, go to our new Flip Georgia Fund to help us get the Senate back. “Osof and Warnock are locked in a tight race with the current Republicans. Kelly Lofler and David Bertue. The Democrats must win both races by a 50-50 margin in the Senate. In that scenario, Kamala Harris, who was elected vice president, would serve as a tiebreaker on key votes. Act Blue’s fundraising page reports that donations to the “Philip Georgia Fund” will be shared equally between the Warnock and Osaf campaigns and the Democrats.
