Pokémon Coco is the latest film to join the franchise and fans are looking forward to this jungle adventure coming to the United States after its grand release in Japan. The film, which premiered in Japan on Christmas Day, has since shared some very interesting details about its fans. And thanks to some novelization of the film, fans have learned some tips that Ash received from … his father ?!
Yes, that is correct! It seems that Ash Ketchum knows who the father is and the boy remembers some advice he received from his old man. Earlier this month, fans were told Pokémon Coco to director Tetsuo Yajima, who Ash’s father would link to his story, and this is because our hero received some solid advice from his pop.
According to the film’s novel, Ash has a small conversation with Coco about her father. The time comes when Ash tries to relate to Coco when it comes to parents, as the newcomer disagrees with Zarude, his adoptive father. There, Ash shares the wise words his father gave him after some local children regressed from their dreams.
“When I was little, my friends laughed at me from my dreams. And every time I started getting dirty my dad would tell me, ‘The map of your goals is inside you.’ If you give up now then your dreams will not come true. “” (via Dogasu backpack)
Clearly Ash’s father knew how to inspire, as Ash quote needed that quote. The boy has not given up on his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master, and his father seems to have pushed Ash in that direction. Now, all fans need is to meet the man and hear those words first hand.
