His score was 1:50 in the first quarter, tying the game 7-7. Fuller’s family cheered her on from the stand, and she greeted the team with high-fives. According to the Associated Press, an officer gave him the scoring ball. In a video message posted on Twitter on Saturday, pro-football and American women’s team star Alyssa Naher congratulated Fuller against Tennessee. “Congratulations on making history, Sarah,” he said. Fuller became the first woman to play in a Power 5 match on November 28. The footballer was appointed after members of the team’s special teams contracted the corona virus. Liz Heston became the first female university footballer to score a goal in Willamette College football. He kicked two extra points through goal posts in a 1997 game against Linfield College.
