1 in 7 vaccinated Americans abandoned their friends for a COVID shot

It is the ultimate form of social distancing.

A new survey shows that one in seven vaccinated Americans has abandoned friends who have refused to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Monday’s OnePoll poll revealed that 16% of respondents had broken up with at least three friends since the pandemic began in March 2020.

Of those who ended friendships, 66% were vaccinated and 17% have no plans to receive the shot.

About one in seven (or 14 percent) of people who have been vaccinated said they abandoned their friends because of their refusal to receive a punch.

The vast majority of vaccinated respondents (97%) believe their old friends are “full-fledged anti-vaxxers” who might not be convinced of the importance of receiving the lifeline.

According to the survey, her ex-friends cited that they do not believe the COVID vaccine works as a reason for not getting it.

Unvaccinated people who participated in the survey said they feared possible side effects, were healthy, or expressed distrust of the shot.

The survey also found that people broke up with friends who had different political views (16%), who had gone out or stayed with an ex (15%) and made up rumors about them (12%). .

A random sample of 1,000 Americans was surveyed online on September 2nd.
