

SANT DOMINGO.- As part of its fifty-first ordinary graduation ceremony, the Eugenio María de Hostos University (UNIREMHOS), to withdraw a 348 new undergraduate and postgraduate professionals, between them 12 in Medicine, 201 of Nursing i 3 of Masters in Public Health.
During the ceremony, which was held virtually, 60 new professionals in the area of accounting, 29 in Law, 18 in Business Administration, 13 in Computer Science, one in Marketing, one in Computer Science, also received their bachelor’s degrees. Initial Education, three of Basic Education, five in Education mention Philosophy and Letters and two of Education mention and Social Sciences.
“The 348 graduates we deliver to society today represent not only a significant number, in times of pandemic, but a set of new professionals who, thanks to scientific rigor, academic quality and a vocation for service, are ready to face the challenges and challenges of the changing environment that surrounds them “, Expressed during the central speech the doctor Wady Ramírez, rector of the House of High Studies.
With this new graduate promotion, UNIREMHOS raises to 4,907 the number of graduates of the Nursing degree, so the work of this health staff trained in the institution was highlighted in this ceremony, which has contributed over the years to care for and improve the health of people and who are currently fighting in hospitals to curb the COVID-19.
In this sense, Dr. Ramirez expressed his desire that the hands of UNIREMHOS doctors and nurses continue to make a significant contribution to improving health of people who are at risk of dying from lack of medical care, because thanks to their work, they will be the key actors for the country to live up to its possibilities and for future generations to live in a better world we live in today.
