MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting that took place in southwest Miami-Dade County.
According to authorities, police responded to the U.S.-1 and southwest area of 137th Avenue after a Shot Spotter alert.
The surveillance video obtained by Local 10 News showed a savage shooting at the busy US-1.
In the video, the doors of an SUV’s passengers open when the first shots are fired. Bullets are seen hitting a white BMW sedan.
More shots are fired, the sedan doors open and the SUV pulls away.
Witnesses on the road were stunned, with a terrified driving and jumping on the sidewalk.
Employees at the nearby Hidalgos Cafe said the driver of this vehicle went to his restaurant to ask for help.
In fact, I had clients here and a lady came in and explained what was going on and called 9-1-1, ”Daysi Resendiz said.

Miami-Dade police said the chaos unfolded shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The victims, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, were rushed to a nearby hospital with non-fatal injuries, according to authorities.
There has not yet been a word about the cheeky shooters who opened fire on traffic on a crowded street, endangering many innocent travelers.
“I was just scared of the people there,” Resendiz said.
