“This inauguration marks a new chapter for the American people: one of healing, of union, of union, of a united America,” said Tony Allen, CEO of the inaugural presidential committee. “It’s time to turn the page on this time of division. The inaugural activities will reflect our shared values and remind us that we are stronger together than we are apart, as our motto ‘e pluribus unum’ reminds us, of many, one. “

Banner sponsors will receive special digital materials, including an exclusive sponsorship certificate, the inaugural presidential committee said.
The committee plans a virtually virtual inauguration this year due to public health issues related to the coronavirus pandemic and what police officials have said poses a higher risk of political violence ahead of the event. There is an increased security presence throughout the city following the deadly riot at the Capitol earlier this month.
In September, 20,000 American flags were placed at the National Mall in memory of the more than 200,000 Americans who had died as a result of the pandemic.
