Public Health continues to strongly encourage all people eligible to be vaccinated, as the most important step in reducing the spread of disease and preventing serious illness and death, as well as reducing the impact on the health care system. In addition, continued practice of other preventative actions such as wearing a mask in public, keeping your distance, avoiding crowds, washing your hands, and staying home when you are sick will help curb the spread of the virus. The vaccination rate in Tuolumne County is 54% of eligible people.
