4 were found dead at the SWAT scene in Harris County in the east, the sheriff says

HOUSTON – Four people, including a shooting suspect, have died in a SWAT scene in Harris County in the east, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Wednesday.

Deputies said they were sent to the 14300 block of Lourdes Drive after receiving a call from a woman around 3:15 a.m. to tell her she had been shot.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they began approaching the residence and an unknown suspect shot them, investigators said.

According to HCSO, the suspect barricaded himself inside the residence. The deputies of the place were heard by a megaphone saying: “Louis, leave the house. We are here to help you, not to hurt you. ”

Throughout the investigation, MPs learned that there were other people at home. Gonzalez said when they entered the house after hearing a shot, they found two women and two men dead. Deputies believe one of the men was the suspect.

According to investigators, the murder-suicide comes from domestic violence. Gonzalez said the suspect, a 49-year-old man, had an affair with one of the women. The man has younger children, but they were not at the residence during the incident, deputies said.

Deputies said the other two victims could be the woman’s adult children in relation to the suspect.
