People who decide to opt for the San Antonio City text alert system can send text messages VACCINE at 55000 or in Spanish VACCINE at 55000. Upon registration, they will receive a text notifying them of locations that have appointments available. If you opt for this text alert system, you will not sign up for the vaccine or be added to a waiting list. This is an additional method to inform the community when new appointments are available. At this time the notifications will be for Alamodome, the wonderland of the Americas managed by University Health and WellMed.
