The 67th National Film Awards are announced today. The awards correspond to films of the year 2019.
The commercially successful Natural Star Nani Jersey film has won two national awards, including Best Regional Film. Publisher Naveen Nooli also won the award.
Jersey was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri at Sithara Entertainments. The film won several other awards.
The director remakes Jersey in Bollywood with the same title. Shahid Kapoor has stepped into Nani’s skin for the Hindi version.
