Interestingly, the Packers kept Isaac Yiadom, who arrived in Green Bay about two weeks ago via trade, above Kabion Ento, who has just finished his third summer in Green Bay. Clearly the Packers wanted to see more of Yiadom, and Ento didn’t get enough of his chance. Yiadom is more experienced, more physical, and probably more reliable right now. The Packers want to play important games during the season. It is clear that the team felt more comfortable with the idea of Yiadom being on the field for special teams and as a secondary corner. Ento can cover, but the potential only goes that far. It wouldn’t be so surprising for the Packers to keep looking for depth around the corner, as Yiadom’s trajectory so far in the NFL isn’t fantastic, even for a No. 5 expected.
