96 percent of Democrats say Biden was elected fairly, only 20 percent of Republicans agree

An overwhelming majority of Democrats say the president-elect, Joe Biden, was elected fairly, while only a narrow margin of Republicans says the same, according to a poll published Thursday in USA Today / Suffolk University.

Ninety-six percent of Democrats say Biden was elected fairly in the November presidential election, while only 20 percent of Republicans polled said the same.

Seventy-eight percent of Republicans believe Biden was not legitimately elected president.

Public opinion news about Biden’s election victory comes after the president and his allies have repeatedly questioned the validity of the 2020 presidential election, alleging that it was the subject of widespread electoral fraud.
