Friday marks the eighth day that the state’s positive rate has declined. 22 deaths related to COVID-19 were reported on Friday. The state death toll now stands at 2,168. Three women aged 57, 62 and 80 and four men aged 57, 66, 77 and 88 from Adair County were among the deaths reported Friday; Two men, aged 69 and 99, from Casey County; Two women from Clinton County, aged 86 and 92, and two men aged 80 and 81; A 60-year-old woman from Cumberland County; A 63-year-old woman from Foyt County; An 85-year-old woman from Jefferson County; Two men, aged 75 and 88, from Pulaski County; Two men, aged 51 and 82, from Russell County; And an 81-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man from Wayne County. As of Friday, 1,717 people had been hospitalized for Covit-19-related causes, 432 were in the ICU and 253 on ventilators. At least 31,087 Kentuckies have recovered from the virus.
