Denver (CBS4) – The Breckenridge couple and their baby were flown on a United Airlines flight from Denver to Newark, New Jersey on Friday. The child is 2 years old and does not want to wear a mask.

The baby’s mother, Elise Blob Orban, recorded the test and shared it on her social media pages. They mostly fly to United, he says, and they are the primary Silver members.
Orban says the family flew four times before, including the young woman, after being infected with the corona virus and had no problems with it.
Orban says his daughter will be 3 years old next April.
In the video, she and her husband can be seen trying to mask the baby before the flight departs. An unknown time has passed when a United Airlines employee told the family to get off the plane because the child was not wearing a mask.
The employee asks if the child’s father has been told to comply once before. The father replied, they told the staff they were trying, but the child did not want to wear the mask.

Under the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, individuals 2 years of age and older are recommended to wear a general mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The parents argued that they were trying to comply, but eventually got off the plane.
Upon disembarkation, the same United Airlines employee told the family that they would continue their luggage to Newark, and they were banned from flying.

In a statement to CBS4, United said the family was not barred. The airline goes to the state,
The health and safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority, which is why we have a two-tier policy that mandates that everyone between the ages of two and over must wear a mask. These procedures are not only supported by CDC and our partners at the Cleveland Clinic, but they are standard at every major airline.
We are investigating this particular incident and have been in touch with the family. We returned their tickets and returned their car seat and bags.
It is unclear whether the family will try to fly to Newark later.
