Fans of Nintendo’s Amoeba series will be delighted to learn that three more figures will be released on March 21, 2021: Banjo-Kasui, Terry Bogart and Pilat. The 2021 release window for figures was announced in October, but this is the first official announcement of the release date. The figures will be released on the same day as Capcom’s Amoeba wave Asura Hunter: Get up, So there will be six figures to buy that day! The first few months of 2021 will be expensive for fans of the figures as they will see the release of Kate Mario and Kate Beach Amoeba on February 12th Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Anger.

Smash Brothers fans will want to scoop up all three of these figures to prove that Banjo-Kasui is the most popular from this wave. The bird and bear pair debuted on the N64, where they quickly became a fan favorite. After the sale of the Nintendo Rare nearly two decades ago, the rights to the characters were accepted by Microsoft, and many fans were shocked when the characters were announced. After the release of the three figures, each fighter who can play Super Smash Brothers Ultimate The first Fighters Pass will be available as an amoeba through DLC. Nintendo has yet to make any announcements about the six fighters from the game’s second DLC set, but it looks like a safe bet that these characters will receive the amoeba as well. So far, three characters have been announced for that DLC set: Minmin, Steve and Zebroth.
While life games have largely disappeared from toys over the past few years, the amoeba line continues to go strong for Nintendo. This line started in 2014 and was released with it Super Smash Brothers for Wii U.. Since then, Nintendo has released various lines with other popular games. With more than six years in the market, the interest among Nintendo fans seems to be strong!
