While analysts predict that dual Georgia Senate races will become the most expensive races in history, Sen. David Bertue, R.C., exploded his Democratic opponent for taking money out of state.
“Well, who would have thought that you could spend half a billion dollars on two Senate seats in one state, but that could happen,” Bertue told Sunday Morning Futures. “In my general election, like my opponent, Kelly Lofler’s opponent, most of their money comes from outside the state, mostly California and New York.”

“We are somewhat angry here because we do not want people from outside the state to come here and try to dictate what we are going to do,” he continued.
Bertue confronts John Osof of the Democrats, sen. Kelly Lofler, R.C., Rev. Raphael confronts Warnock.

This November 15, 2020, Georgia Democratic nominees for the U.S. Senate Rafael Warnock, the Left, and John Osoff, gestured toward a crowd during a campaign rally in Marietta, prison.
96% of the money raised by Osaf and Warnock through the Democratic fundraising site Act Blue came from donors outside the state, including $ 25.8 million from California and $ 10.6 million from New York.
Bertue and Lofler are not far behind that percentage with 92%, according to Five Dirtydit. But population control shows that Georgians are the Republicans ‘best donors, while Democrats’ biggest donors are from Washington, D.C.
Democrats easily beat Republicans in the fundraising game, and many celebrities have rallied to help the Democrats.
Stacy Abrams, a former Democratic candidate and voting rights activist in Georgia, is reportedly holding weekly presentations to Hollywood managers, agents and entertainment executives on how Democrats can help them win in Georgia.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jeffrey Gutsenberg, Kerry Washington and John Legend have arranged to help Ossoff and Warnock win their races.

Abrams has previously listed celebrities like Selena Gomez, Steff Curry and Isa Ray to cut videos for her voting rights group Fair Fight. Georgia is known as the “Hollywood of the South” for its generous tax credits to filmmakers. Latosha Brown, co-founder of Black Waters Matter, told the Hollywood Reporter that the emerging entertainment industry in Georgia is proof of the “emerging New South”.
“This race has become a national race, so everyone in the country, Democrats and Republicans, are trying to weigh in here to get a majority in the Senate,” Bertue said Sunday. “If we have a majority, we will not only have a stronghold against the democratic agenda, but also protect the gains we have made under President Trump over the past four years.”
