The The latest episode of The Montalorian Not much is done for the plot, but for the first time, we see the individual bounty hunter voluntarily take off his helmet. It reveals Point Pascal and proves once again that the actor is not just giving voice to the man in the mask.
Removing his helmet also gives Mando a new nickname, courtesy Mix Mayfield (Phil Burr). He jokingly calls Manto “Brown Eyes”, which Pascal agrees on. “Brown ice, man. I like it,” Pascal said, discussing the latest episode and his upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 with interviewer Jack Hamilton.
At the time, Manto and Mayfield were infiltrating the hidden Imperial Ridonium refinery in Morocco. In order to pass the facial scan, Manto is forced to remove his stormy disguise. He then retrieves Moff Gideon’s ship and coordinates for Kroku and Baby Yoda.
When asked what Manto’s helmet usually wears, Pascal said, “You can’t see a lot through that helmet. It’s dyed, your breath closes it quickly.”
But Pascal enjoyed wearing Manto’s armor and worked out physically in Season 2, which he rarely did in Season 1.
“But all I can see in terms of that lens is that it’s like Amy Cedaris and the ant creature playing cards on that wiki, and of course as a kid I was always one of the best acting partners.
The next and final episode of The Montalorian Season 2 will hit Disney Plus on December 18th.
