Cyberpunk 2077 Less than a week, but already the game has come under some harsh criticism, i.e. its performance on older generation consoles. Graphical issues affected the title, and other glitches made it difficult for players to complete searches, as a result of which its producer, CD Project Red (CDPR), released a hotfix to eliminate some of the worst issues. However, the company acknowledges that much more needs to be done, and has issued a new statement apologizing for “not showing the game on basic last-gen consoles” before its release. It also promises to carry out another update extravaganza to bring Cyberpunk 2077 Will be on par with the next gen and PC versions.
Gamers can expect many updates in the coming months. The first releases will be available in the next seven days, with smaller releases to follow. CDPR will be called Patch # 1 in January and Patch # 2 in February. These should “fix the most important issues facing gamers on the latest gen consoles,” the company says. “They’re not going to build a last-gen game like running on a HighGen PC or the next-gen console, but it’s closer to that experience than it is now,” it added.
