The Force 2021 911 GT3 file (previewed but not yet officially released) is based on the 992 generation model that goes on the road.
Porsche began development of the new 911 GT3 Cup in early 2019 and has developed an all-new aerodynamic package for the racing car. Most importantly, for the first time in the 911 Cup car, it has a wider turbo-spec bodywork, meaning the rear end is 28mm wider than the previous generation model.
Thanks to the presence of burning wheel arches on the front end. Porsche claims that the new car produces significantly less power than the old car, thanks to the new Swan Neck rear section, which offers eleven-phase adjustment.

The body work of the 991.2 Generation 911 GT3 Cup is made of 70 percent steel and 30 percent aluminum. The 992 model is made up of 70 percent aluminum and 30 percent steel, while the doors, hood and rear section are made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
The new 911 GT3 Cup is powered by a 4.0-liter naturally preferred Flat-Six with 510 hp at 8,400 rpm and 346 lb-ft (470 Nm) of torque at 6,150 rpm and 8,750 rpm with dry-sump lubrication. P.M. Combined with this engine is a continuous six-speed dog-type transmission with paddle shifters, single-mass flywheel and three-plate sintered metal racing clutch. Three different exhaust systems are available depending on the race series.
“It made history as the prototype of the 911 Carrera Cup and the Porsche Mobile 1 Super Cup – no other racing car has found satisfying customers from 1990 to 911,” said Michael Treeser, director of sales Porsche Motorsport. Since its launch in 1990, with a 964 based model, Porsche has recorded 4,251 trophy racers.
“The new 911 GT3 file is now starting a new chapter,” Triser noted. “Our goal is to surpass 5,000 points in production in the coming years. Like its predecessor, this model will enable a new generation of talented racers to pave the way for professional motorsport and shape the face of our customer sports commitment around the world.”
Porsche Motorsport now offers all file cars with a complete accessory kit that includes all the special tools and Whisphone spacers needed for track adjustment, and customer teams do not have to order these parts separately. The all-new 911 GT3 Cup will compete in the Force Mobile 1 Super Cup and the National Force Carrera Cup Series in Germany, France, Asia and the Penelox and for the first time in North America. Distributions for the teams are scheduled to begin in February 2021.
