The country music industry was rocked by the news of the death of singer Charlie Pride on Sunday due to complications from the corona virus.
Proud to be the first blockbuster superstar in folk music with hits including “Kiss a Angel Good Morning” and “Mountain of Love”, and peaked at number 29 out of his 52 to 10 hits. He has won many folk music awards. In 1993, he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, although he said he had an open call from his first performance in 1967.
With such a long, historical and successful career of this kind, it didn’t take long for distant celebrities to share their respective tributes for pride on social media.

“I’m so heartbroken, one of my dearest and oldest friends, Charlie Pride, has passed away. It’s even worse to know that he passed away from COVID-19. What a terrible, terrible virus. Charlie, we will always love you.” She wrote.
