A tense teenage killer first stabbed his mother 118 times after strangling her at home in the UK – then quietly told police to “bring a body bag”.
Rowan Thompson, 17, was strangled to death by his mother, Jonah Thompson, 50, when he was returning home from a $ 21,000-a-year private school in Hampshire after a morning jog, citing an investigation by the Times of London on Monday.
After taking a 15 – minute break from the attack, he went back – stabbed her 38 times in the forehead, 64 times in the neck and 16 times in one arm, Winchester Coroner told the court.
“I killed my mother. . . I strangled her and I stabbed her with various knives and a knot, “he told a dealer equivalent to the UK’s 911, who released it in a” quiet, unemotional and very casual manner “after being killed in July last year.
“I need someone to arrest me, that’s what you do, the ambulance will be fine,” Thompson told the operator in a call played on the court, the UK Times said.
“Bring a body bag or whatever you do,” Thompson said.
With details about the hemorrhage, Thompson filled in the operator about the details of his weekend, saying “I had a meal and went to the cinema with my best friends. It was so good.”
Thompson was due to stand trial in October for the murder – but died while in custody at a secure mental health center four days before the trial, the report said.
According to his father, the teen who struggled with “gender identity issues” had a history of mental health issues and previous suicide attempts.
However, psychiatrist John Sandford said in court there was “nothing to recommend except a little autism [Thompson] He was suffering from abnormal mental functions when he killed his mother.
Coroner Jason Beck recorded the verdict of unlawful murder for his mother’s death, saying “no one knows why” Thompson killed her.
The only person I know of is Rowan, and he’s not going to be able to tell us.
