Anthony Johnson vs. Joel Romero Possibility speaks to everyone

We’re got some unexpected – yet to be expected? – Breaking News on Monday revealed that Joel Romero will sign with Bellator 10 days after his release by the UFC.

The news was expected because, even at the age of 43, Romero is still a complete beast of a man who will elevate Bellator’s list, so it made full sense. But even that was unexpected, and last week, Platter leader Scott Cocker explained why he was taking the ad pass for Nolan King of MMA Junkie – early on.

The key word was “early” as Coker acknowledged that the conversation with Romero’s agents would have been open in the first round of management. Also, he must have been reminded of the possibility of an intriguing match on the ship with Romero.

However, nothing is bigger or MMA Twitter is not producing the same amount of saliva as fighting Knockout artist Anthony Johnson who is hitting Romero hard, Bellator signed just last week after splitting with UFC.

More and more tweets kept coming. Can you criticize us? A mild heavyweight clash between Johnson and Romero is a complete dream match between the two most feared men in our game history.

We need this, Scott Coker. Do it!
