After revealing the diagnosis of lymphoma, Jeff Bridges says he is fine

Jeff Bridges offers fans a brief health update.

In the midst of a fight with lymphoma, the 71-year-old star said he “feels good” and “got a puppy named Monty” and “birthday – 71, man” except for shaving his head.

Along with the bullet-riddled list, the actor shared a photo online of himself with a bald head rather than his usual gray locks. His signature beard is gone.

In the picture, Bridges is squeezing with a dog while resting under a blanket, laughing from ear to ear.

He also added a link leading to a handwritten blog in which Bridges offers fans his “latest” thoughts and updates.

He recently added charities and musicians to the site.

The Oscar winner was diagnosed with cancer in October, but confidently made the announcement.

“Although it is a serious illness, I think I’m lucky to have a great doctor. The prognosis is good,” He then explained. “I will start treatment and post you on my recovery.”

He has reminded his fans to vote since he spoke. Putting it positively ahead of the 2020 presidential election, he told fans, “We’re all together.”

After the announcement, Bridges kept his word and offered another update, sharing a photo of himself in a hospital gown.

“I want to thank everyone who reached out at this time. It’s good to have all the best and love.” The actor tweeted.

For the Mayo Clinic, lymphoma is “a cancer of the lymphatic system that is part of the body’s germ-fighting network.”

After revealing her diagnosis, Bridge’s former co-stars Barbara Streisand, Michael Pfeiffer, Julianne Moore and many others offered their condolences online.
