Blake Shelton opens up about his plan to Gwen Stephanie.
Country Croner asked his fellow “The Voice” coach to marry him earlier this year, but the news broke in October, but in the week leading up to the big question, Sheldon had something specific in mind.
When she appeared on the “Bobby Bones Show” show on Monday, the 44-year-old Sheldon shared that she had her ring hidden in her truck.
“I kept the ring for two weeks, maybe two and a half weeks,” he recalled. “The scary thing is, I had that ring in my truck door box for a week. I don’t know about you, but those things come out all the time in my truck.”

Croner joked that he would dig through the box to find something, and as a result its contents were out.
“I kept thinking,‘ Man, when I drop this thought from my truck someone will hit the jackpot, ’Sheldon continued. “I wanted to keep it there … because I didn’t know when I would get the right moment, but thank God I didn’t miss the ring.”

The “Country of God” singer also revealed who attended the special moment.

“The only thing I planned was that I knew I wanted to do this in Oklahoma [Stefani’s] The children were there, and her brother, his family, my sister, and her family called those people an “important group.”

He added: “I did not want to take her or do anything alone with the children. I felt it was important for the children to be a part of that moment.”
