Columbus, Indian – Columbus Regional Health has announced that vaccinations will begin this week for health care providers in inpatient and outpatient organizations and residents of long-term care facilities.
Vaccines for health care providers will begin Friday at the Columbus Regional Health Center in Keller Boulevard, hospital officials said.
Over the next seven to 10 days, licensed health care providers in the region will receive information on registration for the vaccine and a direct link from their licensed organization. Eligible persons who are not licensed will receive registration information and attachments from their employer. These communications will include specific information on how, where to register and the time of vaccination appointment.
Columbus Regional Health is a Phase 1A vaccination site for the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH). CRH is the administrative base for the districts of Bartholomew, Jackson, Jennings and Decatur. . People who work directly with patients or deal with infectious agents are eligible for the vaccine at this time.
