Carano is vocal about his political and social views, especially on his Twitter account, where they have caused extreme division among other social media users.

For months, there have been rumors that Carano’s Mandalorian character should receive a derivative series, which intensified when Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced Rangers of the New Republic at the Walt Disney Company Investors Day event on December 10th.

No details were provided about the next one Star Wars series, apart from the fact that it is being developed by the brilliant team of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and will connect with both The Mandalorian and another derivation, Ahsoka.

It serves to reason, however, that Rangers of the New Republic supposedly or was the rumored spin-off of Cara Dune. After all, the main story of the character is the second season of The Mandalorian he has literally become a “ranger of the New Republic.”

Now, reports indicate that Disney has apologized to former female MMA fighters for granting her a spin-off series. Presumably, the company would like him to apologize for some of the tweets he has shared on his account amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

It is not possible to know what types of clauses are in Carano’s contract, so there may be reasons for such requests.

It is certainly worth noting that neither Disney nor Lucasfilm have publicly commented on the ongoing drama on Carano’s social media. In fact, co-star Pedro Pascal, who plays the main character in Din Djarin, has publicly supported him amid the online feud.

Until Disney or Lucasfilm executives issue an official statement about the potential of a Dune Face Mandaloriana derived series, it is important to remember that this rumor of the apology is not confirmed.
