“Continuing life and the Dominican Liberation Party celebrates 47 years of work, strengthening democracy and transforming the Dominican Republic,” was the response of Radhamés Camacho, a member of the Political Committee of the Liberation Party Dominican Republic (PLD), when asked about the cases that will weigh against former government officials of Danilo Medina.
He also said that “we live in a democratic social state governed by the rule of law, which continues with the process that governs the circumstance.”
Regarding whether the Central Committee of the party will meet for the accusations: “The Central Committee of the PLD meets in due course.”
Amid allegations of irregularities, cases that are in court, the PLD celebrates its 47th anniversary, and several leaders of the entity have attended an event at its National House.
