The provision is contained in Decree 695.20, which indicates that the Cabinet is created to ensure higher levels of coordination and increase efficiency, effectiveness and agility in decision-making at the level of public administration.
Establish that the country’s public administration requires an inter-agency coordination space that also promotes policies, guidelines and control mechanisms that strengthen its performance, ensuring sustainable development.
The Transparency Government will be chaired by the Directorate General of Ethics and Government Integrity, headed by Milagros Ortiz Bosch. Also the Ministry of Finance, Comptroller General of the Republic, National Treasury, General Directorate of Budget, General Directorate of Public Procurement, which will exercise the executive direction; the Financial Analysis Unit of the Dominican Republic and the General Directorate of Government Accounting.
Last Thursday, President Abinader launched a plan to prevent and stop administrative corruption through a series of laws, regulations and decrees, which ensures greater efficiency in the administration of state resources.
It specifies that the public administration and public servants in their relations with the administered must act in accordance with the principle of ethics enshrined in number 21 of article 3 of law 107-13. In addition it establishes that all the personnel to the service of the public administration, as well as the people generally must act with rectitude, loyalty, honesty and neatness; as well as the principles of honesty and probability that govern the conduct of public servants, established in numbers 5, 8 and 9 of article 77 of law 41-08.
The people and institutions that make up the Cabinet have as their main objective the focus on the efficient and agile management of the payment of public procurement and procurement, the prevention of corruption and integrity as a value of the Public Administration.
The decree instructed the Cabinet to create a technical table to reduce payment times to state suppliers.

Yesterday afternoon, Abinader also hosted the inaugural ceremony of the “Doctor Jin Akiyama Mathematical Experience Room” at the Dominican Republic Children’s and Youth Library.

“The Doctor Jin Akiyama Mathematical Experience Room, which opens today (yesterday) is a space dedicated to promoting the teaching and study of this language, that of mathematics, through easy and fun methods and experiments,” he said. say President Abinader.
Highlighted that the room is designed to develop and strengthen in users the curiosity to discover the world of numbers, applying them to everyday life and easily understanding complex concepts and theorems.
He also said that users and visitors will be able to enjoy and explore the various areas, manipulating objects and personally verifying the object-theory relationship, while performing a playful activity and acquiring knowledge while living.
Meanwhile Gloria Reyes, CEO of Prosoli, said that in the current context, all initiatives that tend to innovate in the knowledge of their priorities.
