After successfully overcoming the bariatric surgery he underwent last Tuesday, Fernando Villalona will receive the height this Thursday, according to the medical team headed by Dr. Luis Betances, a cardiovascular surgeon.
Villalona, considered for more than five decades the most beloved artist in the Dominican Republic, had planned to enter the operating room to control his weight and therefore take care of his health.
It was recalled that the artist was admitted last Monday to the Medina Advanced Diagnostic and Telemedicine Center -Cedimat- in the Plaza de Salud in Santo Domingo, where the operation was performed.
Before and during the surgery, which lasted about an hour and 30 minutes a considerable amount of audience and fan of what will be interpreted as “Dominicano soy” will be kept in prayer for health and for everything to go well in middle of the process.
