Lorenzo Taliaferro, a former Ravens runner, died Wednesday at the York-Poquoson sheriff’s office in Virginia announced. He was 28 years old.
Deputies responded to a call Wednesday afternoon about someone in need of medical attention. Taliaferro was taken to a local hospital where he later died. The sheriff’s office did not reveal any cause of death.
Taliaferro, a native of Yorktown, Virginia, spent his college career on the Carolina Coast, running 1,729 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2013.
