The Giants have lost one of their best players in another COVID-related issue.
Star cornerback James Bradberry will miss Sunday night’s game against the Browns after moving Thursday to the reserve list / COVID-19.
Bradberry, 27, came into close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19 and is not affiliated with the Giants. The contact took place outside the team’s practice facilities.
Earlier Thursday, the Giants announced that offensive coordinator Jason Garrett tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Sunday night’s game. Former Browns coach Freddie Kitchens, the Giants coach, called up offensive plays against Cleveland.
Bradberry joined the Giants as a free agent this year on a three-year, $ 43.5 million contract.
