Is it me, or are the messages from COVID vaccines more than unimportant? Here’s the NBC medical analyst Dr. Vin Gupta, who contradicts himself, moves the goalposts back, or just says he still can’t trust the vaccine, but that anyway , is a sign of virtue for us, unwashed commoners.

You can get the vaccine but are you still infected? I do not get it. Whatever it is, it’s a bad message that confuses people.
While the vaccine was nothing more than a dream, an aspiration, the media downplayed even the possibility that we would see it before the end of the infernal year of 2020. NBC led the demoralization campaign. Because that’s why NBC exists. Well, that and drive Russia’s conspiracy theories.
Here’s where the “miracle” has even reached the Texas border. At any other time, Operation Warp Speed and its leader would be considered heroic.
Front-line health workers are being scammed. Hundreds of thousands of doses are found in trucks heading to Lone Star state.
Dell Medical School is one of four facilities across the state to receive the first vaccine shipment. Exactly 19 other facilities are expected to receive shipments on Tuesday. And by the end of the week, more than 220,000 of Pfizer’s doses should be in 110 hospitals in 34 Texas counties.
The end of the week is tomorrow or Saturday. Many jeans will touch the needle in hopes of returning to normalcy.
But not so fast! Not according to Vin Gupta, MD. According to him, we don’t know if the vaccine does more than prevent you from getting really sick:
“Just for your viewers, I know that one of the officials we just saw vaccinated is scheduled to travel after the second dose. This is a source of confusion. This is one of the misconceptions out there. The fact that you are vaccinated with this second dose doesn’t mean you have to get involved in things like traveling in the middle of an out-of-control pandemic or being released from wearing masks.
“Everything applies until we all get the dose regimen and we don’t think that’s going to happen until June or July. And again, that goes back to what we just talked about, Chuck. We don’t know if just vaccinating prevents you. serious illnesses or prevents you from becoming completely infected? That is, you can still become infected with the virus and pass it on to others. So, very, very critical: don’t drop your guard just because you you may have been vaccinated. You may still be infected with the virus and pass it on to others, so keep that in mind. “
So … what’s the point? Okay, you might be staying out of the hospital. What about resuming a life prior to COVID? This is what we all really want. The disease is temporary. The loss of freedom is forever, until now.
Follow me here for just a second.
We know the virus is contagious, but we also know that for the vast majority of people it is not deadly. It’s bad. Horrible. Not good. But for most people who don’t have an average of 2.6 other comorbidities, the new coronavirus is very unlikely to kill you.
Exception: When your state or county decides that lead poisoning = death by COVID. In reality, this must stop cooling right now and the deaths eliminated from COVID are total. We do not know the actual number of deaths from COVID due to explanations like this, which have been occurring since April or there, eroding confidence throughout the containment company. They say we are close to 300,000 dead by COVID, but right? Really? When do shooting deaths and the like continue to fall in totals?
In fact, our alleged health experts have eroded confidence for months from a plateau to a grand canyon of suspicion, beginning with “two weeks to flatten the curve” that extends to this endless twilight of the police state until their approval of the riots as they ordered our churches and our businesses closed, leaving millions of Americans facing eviction very soon. Are restaurants not the main distributors of COVID? Close them anyway! Democrats think we all have Nancy Pelosi’s freezer full of gourmet ice cream at home, when the reality is that most Americans live on payroll. Any financial disruption is a personal disaster for them.
The recommendations of the experts, which should have been based on science, and stated so many, have seemed at least quite political. Such as: Restaurants and other small businesses are closed, but Tom Cruise can shoot movies and yell at his helpless production staff if they are an inch too close to each other. Why does Tom Cruise get to work and you don’t? It’s rich, you don’t have it. He has the California Democrats in his pocket, and you don’t. So shut up, farmer.
Another exception: if you’re in a New York nursing home under Governor Cuomo’s watch. This guy has it for the old ones. Thousands of people died after packing up nursing homes with patients with COVID, and he suffocated an investigation into it, wrote a book outlining his super genius, accepted an award for his lectures on press of a single spectacle and tore his arm back for his atrocious deeds.
Count me on Janice Dean and the Accountability Machine.
Let’s go back to the virus and the vaccine. We know that for the vast majority, on a variable scale that goes down with age, it is very unlikely that the virus will be fatal or even require hospitalization. It seems like kids don’t even get it or spread it. But teachers ’unions want schools to be closed and, where God is, schools are closed by God. And you’re a racist if you question them about it. This, again, goes directly to Democrats and who owns them, as well as a media / high technology that is explicitly on the side of Democrats in all things. Not in science. A generation is being robbed of their childhood thanks to all this.
If you get the virus, you will feel sick and feel truly terrible, but the virus is unlikely to kill you. The survival rate is still above 99% and the younger you are, the less likely you are to be fatal. There have been exceptions, but exceptions are not the rule.
What is the point, in fact, of all the misery and uncertainty that the authorities have given us? What does 2020 mean?
Florida and California have taken very different paths to treat COVID. Governor Newsom belongs to the school of “draconian rules for you, but not for me,” blocking everything but pro-Democrat Hollywood movie productions as he goes to dinner with pressure groups at a restaurant that you can’t afford without selling a kidney. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has kept his state open for months. Florida has an older population; California is bigger. Both are states of warm climate. The media caught DeSantis, because of course they did.
COVID experiences in the states are very similar, but because Florida is open, it has about half of California’s unemployment rate. In the long run, Florida will have fewer evictions than the millions who are attacking a tired nation. It will have an economy capable of sustaining its medical community and its government. California is bleeding thousands of jobs as Calexit accelerates. Newsom may remember, which would be a lot of fun.
Yes, I know, those Californians who put their own economic disaster in the rearview mirror are coming to Texas. We need a welcome wall or wagon.
As for the vaccine, Dr. Gupta says that we should take it with joy, but that it will not allow you to resume normal life, you will get a lot out of that from ordinary people in response. This is what leads to messaging confusion with rank politics.

Unlike the pre-elections of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, here I am pro-vax and I have always been. But if our medical teachers don’t know how to articulate why we should be stabbed and how useful it is to benefit us, more people will decide not to.
We are certainly suffering from a pandemic of incoherent experts and junk media reports. When they don’t minimize the possibility of having a vaccine, they refuse to report on the historic Middle East peace agreements, which cover the monstrous national security liabilities called Hunter Biden and Eric Swalwell (which amounts to electoral manipulation), and they only confuse the life of a traumatized nation.
