Prince William and Kate Middleton share a sweet family Christmas card photo

British Prince William and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, released a new family photo of their Christmas card this year this Wednesday, and their children took center stage in the good shot.

The beautiful snapshot, shot at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge official social media accounts, shows the family sitting on a hay bale in front of piles of firewood. Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5 Prince Louis, 2, are all seen resting on their parents while smiling in plain sight with the camera. It even looks like little Prince Louis has been caught half-laughing at the shot.

The family wore a casual sweater this year for their long-awaited look holiday card photo.

“The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new image of their family, which appears on this year’s Christmas card,” the post reads.

The image was captured in the fall at the Anmer Hall family home by royal photographer Matt Porteous, Entertainment Tonight reports. He has also taken birthday photos of Prince George in the past.

The card was delivered to the country National Health Service Staff (NHS) and front-line workers in gratitude for their tireless efforts in the fight against coronavirus this year, according to the medium.

This year’s Christmas card photo looks more festive than last year’s. Air Commander Dawn McCafferty posted the card on Twitter last season, ET reports. The image showed the family of five people in good weather clothes posing with a motorbike and a sidecar.

Christmas for the royal family (usually an elaborate show) will probably be a much quieter affair this year. Queen Elizabeth II canceled the traditional Christmas festivities on his estate in Sandringham these holidays. Instead, she will spend time with her husband, Prince Philip, in Windsor, where they have been isolated in the midst of the pandemic.

Last year, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, mostly they attended their first Christmas church service with the queen during the annual family celebrations.
