Paul McCartney: McCartney III [Capitol]

McCartney III it arrives 50 years later McCartney and 40 years later McCartney II. Paul McCartney recorded the late third installment of the trilogy earlier this year while locked up at his home in Sussex, England. “I just did things I enjoyed doing,” he said. “I had no idea this would end up being an album.” McCartney’s previous album was in 2018 Egypt Station.

Little Levi: Ruff Dog [self-released]

Ruff Dog is the first album without a soundtrack that Mica Levi has released under her own name. Launched as a surprise, the collection of 11 lo-fi songs includes a track title — beginning with “A Jimi Hendrix …”, which has 107 words. (The song lasts just over a minute.) The album follows its scores for films such as monkeys, Jackie, i Under the skin.

V / A: Soul (original soundtrack of the film) [Walt Disney]

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross marked the new Disney Pixar film Soul. The film, starring Jamie Foxx and featuring original songs by Jon Batiste, is about a musician whose soul is separated from his body. He Soul the soundtrack also includes “Rappin Ced” by Daveed Diggs and “Parting Ways” by Cody ChesnuTT.

Sheff G.: Proud of me now [Winners Circle/RCA]

After the release of his mixtape One and only and the Only 4 years EP earlier this year, Brooklyn rapper Sheff G has released his debut album. It was produced by Great John and features the singles “No Negotiations” and “Lights On”.
