And Eminem apologized to Rihanna for a lyrics by Chris Brown in an old leaked song after releasing a new surprise album on Thursday at midnight.

In the song Zeus from his new catalog, Music To Be Murdered By – Side B, the 48-year-old rapper tried to correct his own mistakes with the note.

“But, I, as long as I promise to be sincere / And wholeheartedly, sorry, Rihanna,” she sang. “For this leaked song, I’m sorry, Ri / It wasn’t meant to hurt you.

“Regardless, I was wrong.”

Nearly a decade ago, the artist, who is called Marshall Mathers in full, created a song with lyrics by Chris Brown.

“But, I, as long as I promise to be sincere / And wholeheartedly, sorry, Rihanna,” she sang. “For this leaked song, I’m sorry, Ri / It wasn’t meant to hurt you”

Brown assaulted infamous Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party in 2009, where she later pleaded guilty to assault offenses and formalized her parole in March 2015.

Dennis Dennehy, Eminem’s spokesman, said in response to the leaked lyrics at the time: “This is a leak of something that is more than ten years old. After Eminem recorded it, scrapped it and went “Obviously, he and Rihanna have a great relationship.”
