Epic Games Store reveals a new free game available only today

The Epic Games store is currently in the middle of its major holiday sales, with countless titles in the storefront that see some drastic reductions. In addition to the discounts, Epic also gives away a new game every day for the rest of the year. As of today, the latest free offer has been submitted to EGS.

Released live today at Epic Games Store, the new free title available in the market is that of The long darkness. Developed by Hinterland Studio, The long darkness is a survival game that was first released in 2017. The title allows you to take on the harshness of the outdoors and still receives regular updates to this day.

As mentioned, however, if you want to add The long darkness in your own PC library, you need to act fast. The game is only available for free for a period of 24 hours. If you do not go to the storefront before tomorrow morning at 11:00 EDT, this promotion will run out and you will have to pay the usual retail fee to pick up the game.

The long darkness it’s just the third title Epic Games Store is giving away as part of this ongoing holiday promotion.
