After a difficult year on many levels, Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. stars. and Lauren Burnham announced the happy news they are expecting their second child on Saturday.
Arie, 39, shared the happy news on her Instagram account, with a beautiful photo gallery showing the couple’s one-year-old daughter, Alessi Ren.
At first, the proud parents sat on the couch with their baby girl between them, while Arie held a sign that said “Big Sister July 2021.”

The news comes after the couple shared in May that they had suffered a miscarriage.

Lauren explained that upon learning that she was expecting less than a year after welcoming Alessi, there were complications in the pregnancy from the start.
During the summer, Burnham opened up to Us Magazine about her approach to conceiving, saying she and her American-Dutch husband were in the second month of trying.

Most recently, Arie shared that she had become infected with COVID-19, around Thanksgiving time.
