Vladimir Natera Abreu and Joset Jomar Rivera Verdejo, accused of drug trafficking by the authorities, were captured this Sunday in an operation by the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD) and U.S. bailiffs.
But What is the history of these people?
Natera Abreu is identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as the leader of the narco-band Pedrera Revolutionary Forces in Puerto Rico (FARC), in addition to being considered in the Dominican Republic as the largest drug dealer in Puerto Rico.
According to FBI records, FARC has been active since 2007, involved in “large-scale” sale and distribution of cocaine, crack, heroin and marijuana in the Barrio Obrer area of the Puerto Rican city of San Juan.
At the same time, he noted that this gang maintains control of its organization through the use of violence, with the particular use of crocodiles.

Natera Abreu, 32, is also known as “Vladi” and “Flako”, and it has dual nationality: that of the Dominican Republic and that of the United States.

According to police reports at the time, he was charged with ten counts: First-degree murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated kidnapping, six charges under the Weapons Act.
The judge in charge of the case found cause sufficient to dictate a bail to him of 2.3 million dollars, which did not lend, later being entered the Regional Prison of Bayamón.
Rivera Verdejo
Joset Jomar Rivera Verdejo, was arrested in 2018 in the Dominican Republic for his apparent role in the shooting death of drug trafficker Carlos Giovanni Báez Rosa, alias “Tonka”, but was later released because he was not found linkage.
Similarly, was linked to the murder of urban artist Kevin Fret.
