Fortnite The fifth season, just in time for Christmas, has regained a controversial feature and right now it’s unclear why or for how long it will return. If you haven’t picked up the battle royale game on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, Nintendo Switch, or mobile devices in the last day or two, Epic Games re-added planes to the game, though with a controversial twist that players are not in love with.
The planes themselves are quite controversial. The last time they were in the game, before the release of chapter two, some players loved it and have been anticipating their possible return, but many players hated them and hoped they would leave for good. That said, they have returned, but with a modification that has made them split among the players happy to see them return in the first place.
More on Twitter, featured Fortnite data analyzer and leaker, FortTory, not only revealed aircraft in action, but also revealed that they now have fuel tanks, which brings a new dynamic to their use. The last time they were implemented, they had no fuel tanks, so it’s not clear why Epic Games made that change, but again, it’s also not clear why the planes return in the first place. The answer to the previous question may be to make sure they are not in the final circle, which was a big criticism of their previous implementation, but for now, this is just speculation.

As alluded to, the return of the planes has the Fortnite divided community. Some players are not happy to see them again, while others are, although some of these players are disappointed, they now have a fuel tank.
