The Houston Texans lost another breaker to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon with a 27-20 loss at Lucas Oil Stadium.
For the first time since 2017, the Texans will endure a season of double-digit losses and two of those defeats came at the hands of the Colts.
Like the Week 13 encounter at NRG Stadium, the Texans ’offense had a setback on the 2-yard line. Instead of focusing on the center of Nick Martin, receiver Keke Coutee caught a pass and was scheduled to cross the goal line, although he would have to pass a pair of Colts defenders.
Winger Darius Leonard kicked the ball and the Colts bounced back in the end zone for a touchback.
Viewers took to Twitter to convey their shock at another Texans-Colts game that would come to a wild end.
“That explains the #Texans season,” the NFL wrote in Texans
Yellow Boiii provided a GIF of a man giving a hand to another, alleging that this would be what quarterback Deshaun Watson would do if he saw Coutee in the locker room.
Another use of Twitter captured the perfect screenshot to summarize Houston’s 2020 season.
Coutee’s uproar cost Michael Dean some money in a 4-way salon.
The Twitter coach was ready to cut Coutee after the game.
Some would say the play represented the Houston season.
The Texans fall to 4-10 this season and prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16 for their penultimate home game at NRG Stadium.
