Manufacturers have officially announced their Holiday 2020 event through their official blog. They’ve included a number of brilliant Pokémon in the game and gamers are sure to be curious about them. Currently, players are wondering about Pokémon GO brilliant Solosis. The brilliant Solosis can only be found in the nature it randomly generates. Searching for Pokémon on the map is definitely the best way to find it. To give you an idea, the games have said that a bright Pokémon will appear about once every 450 encounters. Players should hurry, as this event will only last until December 21 at 8pm local time. Aside from that, players have also been wondering about the current forays into Pokemon Go. To help you, we’ve listed all the changes that have been made with the latest Pokemon Go update.

New Pokemon Go update patch notes

  • Pokémon with holiday costumes: Pikachu, Delibird and Cubchoo with new festive-themed costumes will appear on Pokémon GO.
  • Pokémon that appear in nature: Delicious ice-type Pokémon will appear more frequently in nature, such as Spheal, Snover and more. Vanillite, the Pokémon Fresh Snow, will debut in Pokémon GO.
  • Egg-born Pokémon: Seel, Swinub, Smoochum, Snorunt, Snover and Vanillite will hatch from 5 km of eggs.
  • The Pokémon that appear in Raid Battles: Alolan Sandshrew, Dewgong, Jynx, Sneasel, Swinub, Walrein, Cubchoo and Cryogonal will appear in the raids. If you’re lucky, you might even come across a Shiny Jynx. Don’t forget: Mega Abomasnow will appear in Mega Raids and will be even more powerful throughout the event.
  • Event Exclusive Field Research: Enjoy exclusive field research tasks for events that will reward you with the opportunity to find Pokémon like Vanillite and Cryogonal.
  • Winter-themed avatar items coming to the store: To help you dress up for the holiday season, you can expect Greedent Sweater, Whimsicott Earmuffs, Winter Boots, and Winter Coat avatar items.
  • Get stickers with festive themes from PokéStops, Gifts and the store. You can find stickers with Alolan Vulpix, Croagunk, Whimsicott and more during the event. You won’t be able to get these stickers once the event is over, so get them while you can.
  • There will be exclusive boxes for events in the store during the event. Check out the game store for more information.
  • Event Exclusive AR Mapping Rewards: Perform AR mapping tasks to get Abomasnow Mega Energy and meet Snorunt.
