DO NOT MISS IT: New Year’s Eve Celebrations: There’s really no shame staying home the big night and partying in front of the TV, as long as the confetti is emptied in the morning. Tuesday’s holiday specials include Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve, Rockin ’Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2021 ″ (8pm, ABC), featuring performances by Post Malone, BTS, Sam Hunt, Alanis Morissette and many month. Other options include “Fox’s New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey: Live from Times Square” (8 p.m., Fox) and “NBC 2021 New Year’s Eve” (10 p.m., NBC). The former features The Chainsmokers, The Lumineers, Florida Georgia Line, Backstreet Boys and others, while the latter features a lineup with Brett Eldredge, NE-YO, Blake Shelton, The Struts and Gwen Stefani.

SUNDAY: The new drama series “Dare Me” delves into the world of competitive high school cheerleaders. It follows the full relationship between two best friends (Herizen Guardiola and Marlo Kelly) whose lives change when a shocking crime drags their quiet city from rust strap. (10 p.m., USA).
MONDAY: Directed by Ron Howard, this documentary “Pavarotti” promises an intimate portrait of the famous Italian opera singer, Luciano Pavarotti. The film includes excerpts from his most memorable performances, unreleased footage, and personal interviews. (8 p.m., Showtime).
WEDNESDAY: “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice” is an acclaimed documentary about the singer who rose to the top of the music scene in the late 1960s and became the first woman to head the pop, country music charts. and R&B simultaneously. Ronstadt tells his story about images from personal photos and his concerts. (9 p.m., CNN).
WEDNESDAY: As a new season of “Doctor Who” begins, intelligence agents around the world are being attacked by alien forces. MI6 turns to the only people who can help: the doctor and friends. (8 p.m., BBC America).
WEDNESDAY: In the new drama series “Messiah,” a CIA officer (Michelle Monaghan) investigates a charismatic man (Mehdi Dehbi) who provokes a spiritual movement and provokes political unrest. Is he really a divine entity or a deceptive artist? (Netflix).
THURSDAY: At the opening of season 8 of Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing,” Mike helps Vanessa cope with the empty nest syndrome, while Kristin announces her pregnancy to the family and unknowingly annoys Mandy in the process. (8 p.m., Fox).
THURSDAY: Stephen Dorff stars in the new police drama “Deputy.” He plays a fifth-generation lawyer driven to head the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after his boss died unexpectedly. (9 p.m., Fox).
FRIDAY: Here’s a crossover event held in paradise: Steve McGarrett and Thomas Magnum join forces in a story that begins in “Hawaii Five-0” (8 p.m., CBS) and ends in “Magnum PI” (9 p.m., CBS). It all revolves around a stolen list of undercover CIA agents in a case that could endanger national security.
SATURDAY: Will you say “Yes” to the 10-episode event series “Say Yes to the Dress America”? The popular costume shopping show selected a bride from all states, including Washington, DC and Puerto Rico, for a big wedding party in New York’s Central Park. It seems like a logistical nightmare.
