New York is gearing up for the reimagined New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square

TIMES SQUARE – Good exemption, 2021.

Celebrations that will sound like the new year will be much smaller than usual due to the ongoing pandemic, but many around the world are excited about 2021.

One of the biggest celebrations in the world will see its own changes. Instead of the usual crowd in Times Square for the ball falling, there will be less than 100 people at the crossroads of the world that will sound in 2021. Doctors, nurses, teachers, grocery store employees and traffic workers will be guests enjoy the celebration in pens from social distances while everyone else watches from home.

There will be a live broadcast, but only a small audience in person, Tim Tompkins told the Times Square Alliance.

“To make up for the experience we have a new way of looking,” he said. “In addition to the TV broadcast, there’s a New Year’s Eve app, which is interactive. You can even choose camera angles.”

Gloria Gaynor, Jennifer Lopez, Billy Porter and Jimmy Allen will headline the event.

To date, the biggest star for visitors is a large illuminated screen for 2021. It was driven more than 5,000 miles across 15 states to reach Times Square, according to Times Square producer Jeff Strauss.

“Because these numbers were driven across the country by Kia drivers, people along the way at every stop were cheering,” Strauss said. “Not everyone can wait until the end of 2021.”
