10 places to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Fort Worth

Definitely, Fort Worth still stays awake until midnight to sound the new year and give a kiss in 2021 a thank you goodbye. If you feel like venturing out on New Year’s Eve, here are some places to celebrate.

Evil butcher

After being closed for nine months, Fort Worth’s downtown Weak Butcher is finally open and serves an elegant three-course dinner for New Year’s Eve. Options include beef tartare, Australian lamb and cherry cream for dessert. Book online or by calling 817-601-4621.

Prohibition: New Year’s Eve celebration

With the Bass Performance Hall closed, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO) brings its annual New Year’s Eve show to the Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. The orchestra will play a Roaring Twenties theme program that, according to the FWSO, pays homage to “prohibition, gangsters, wit and intrigue.” Tickets available online.

Stripes

Pinstripes, a Clearfork bowling and petanque venue, hosts a New Year’s Eve party with live music, party favors, surprise gifts and champagne toasts (along with free sparkling drinks for children). Book online or by calling 682-352-0905.

B&B Butchers and Restaurant

One of Near Southside’s newest meeting points, Wishbone & Flynt (and its accompanying cocktail bar, the Amber Room), hosts a 2021 farewell celebration. Texas by Billy Bob

Tracy Lawrence will lead the celebration of Billy Bob’s New Year’s Eve in Texas. Buy a ticket for the New Year Eve Bash time marches to get access to food, special cocktails, giveaways and “Good Luck Post-Midnight Snacks”. More information here.

City work

City Works celebrates “beer New Year’s Eve” with chef specialties such as short rib medallions and steak to combine with over 90 beers on the roll and a glass of complimentary champagne. Make reservations here.

Amplify 817

Of course, there’s no harm in staying home on New Year’s Eve. The Fort Worth Public Library hosts a virtual concert with musicians on its free music streaming platform, Amplify 817. The lineup includes artists Big Heaven, Frenchie’s Blues Destroyers, Grady Spencer & the Work, GR4NT, Louie Thesinger, Mean Motor Scooter and Yokyo, with the show hosted by Amplify 817 artist and curator Lou CharLe $ and Tom Martens of Hear Fort Worth.
