NBC 5 and Nexstar announced the details of the broadcast of “Lone Star NYE 2021,” a New Year’s program that will air on December 31, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT, hosted by Katy Blakey of NBC 5 and DJ Williams of KARK.
This year’s New Year’s Eve show, featuring Eli Young Band, NBC singer Ryan Berg from “The Voice,” and traditional Dallas Reunion Tower man-made shows, will air in North Texas on NBC 5 , in 12 additional Texas markets and five central time zone states, including Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri.
As in past years, “Lone Star NYE 2021” will include spectacular “Over the Top NYE” live fireworks presented by Hunt Realty Investments and Reunion Tower with NBC 5 and Nexstar Inc. serving as official sponsors of the media. The remarkable 10-minute non-stop fireworks show will illuminate the Dallas city skyline with stunning panoramic fireworks and include more than 4,000 fireworks specials fired from 560 feet above the ground at the Reunion Tower. Meanwhile, the tower is covered with 259 LED lights that will display thousands of unique designs and patterns during the show.
“Lone Star NYE 2021” is broadcast live from the pool of the Omni Hotel and offers local coverage of the events at the official celebration of “Lone Star NYE 2021” at the Hyatt Hotel.
