PITTSBURGH, PA: Christmas week provides tight schedules to various government services and facilities in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. This is what opens and closes:
CLOSED
City and county government offices: December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.
City Center for the Elderly: December 25, January 1. Grab ‘n Go meals will be available on Wednesdays before Christmas and on Mondays and Wednesdays before New Year’s Day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the following locations: Beechview, Brighton Heights, Glen Hazel, Greenfield, Hazelwood, Homewood, Lawrenceville, Sheraden, South Side and West End. The centers remain closed for face-to-face programming due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Recreational centers of the city: December 25, January 1. Grab ‘n Go meals will be available on the Wednesday before Christmas Day and the Tuesday before New Year’s Day from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the following recreation centers: Ammon, Arlington, Brookline, Jefferson, Magee, Paulson, Phillips and Warrington. Meals will also be distributed at these Citiparks partner locations: Allegheny Dwellings, As Wee Care, Community Empowerment, East Hills Community Center, Hazelwood / Poorlaw, Northview Heights, Project Destischedule Change, Salvation Army-Homewood and Salvation Army-Westside. The centers remain closed for face-to-face programming.
Schenley Park Skating Rink: December 25th.

Schenley Park Skating Rink: Dec. 24 and 31, 1:30 to 3 p.m .; January 1, 6: 30-8: 00 p.m., and 9:22:30 p.m.
County ice rinks, ski slopes, snowshoes, and golf courses will also have vacation hours available, weather and conditions permit.
