Restaurants
After holding on to 2021, you deserve caviar, a feast of Beijing ducks and all the truffles.
Should we forget 2021 and never remember it? Absolutely. While this year’s problems don’t fade once the clock strikes midnight on January 1, we all deserve to ring the new year with a sure celebration. And that means there are packs of food to take away unnecessarily, from caviar kits to culinary experiments led by a chef, while the bubble is passed before the ball is released. Look for these options from eight local restaurants, and here are some brighter days for 2021.

Alcova
You know how this year was a “what’s next?” rain of bad news? Alcove offers an antidote in the form of food – a New Year’s menu with a wide range of products, from caviar to chicken fingers, that will leave you similar to their disbelief but much happier. Savor dinners for two (between $ 125 and $ 150) that combine three pounds of butter-filled lobster with salmon tartare (in the “Surf” package), or 14-ounce tomato pork chops with broccoli salad and potato gratin (for “Lawn” ”). Meanwhile, the cocktail appetizers of prawns, oysters, balls of arancini with Fontina cheese and caviar are perfect for a cocktail or at least the equivalent of “party” of 2021, which consists of making a bottle of bubbles supplied by Alcove. immediate home. And finally, you can even invite kids with an all-natural chicken finger meal before taking them to bed, keeping the decadent dessert of cookie and banana dough ice cream. Chickadee
You’ve achieved this all this year, proving that you’re a resilient soul with whom you don’t fool yourself, and now it’s time to claim your rich reward. Chickadee’s current Holiday Essentials menu includes a luxurious Osetra caviar kit ($ 80), as well as two truffle kits: choose a half ounce of black Perigord ($ 65) or the coveted Alba white truffle ($ 120) and your feast of rich mushroom flavors includes accompaniments of black truffle snail paste, truffle butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and even a truffle cutter. There’s also a lot of “truffle-friendly” red wines and bubble bottles, ranging from $ 10 to a $ 280 bottle of Dom Perignon Brut from 2008. (You deserve it, as it seems like only December has lasted years). Need some more background? Make a meal of mezze cold and hot offerings: bright herbal falafel with tzatziki beets, smoked baba ganoush or larger dishes, such as rich piccata lamb loin. Chickadee will close December 24-30, but you can still place orders to pick them up or deliver them via Toast on December 31st.
