Los Angeles Hollywood party performances have been previously announced for Miley Cyrus, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat and Nelly. Ciara will be organizing the parties on the west coast. More performers are expected to be announced in the coming days before the end of the year.
As in all things 2021, this year Dick Clark’s Rock Clark New Year’s Eve it will look a little different than it had in recent years. For the first time in its nearly 50-year history, the broadcast will be closed to the public due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Kelly will likely perform a number from her 2021 LP, Tickets to My Downfall, which won the star their first number 1 album on the Billboard 200 when it came out in September. The pop-punk project, which also earned the distinction as the first rock album topping the list from Tool’s By Inoculum in September 2020: so far it has spawned a trio of singles: “Bloody Valentine,” “Concert for Aliens,” and “My Ex’s Best Friend,” assisted by Blackbear.
Since the release of the album, Kelly has also collaborated with Yungblud (who appears in Tickets to My Downfall the bonus of the song “Body Bag”) from the album cut “Acting Like That” from the latter’s new LP Strange!.
