Mandalorian Season 2: Now streaming

Mandalorian season 2 expanded a lot from what we saw in season 1, from the Darksaber to the live debuts of Asoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze. With season 2 only 8 episodes long and less than an hour long, this show couldn’t be easier to watch. For Star Wars fans, The Mandalorian can’t be missed, and even if you’re a more casual viewer, Baby Yoda’s tenderness is simply irresistible. Definitely one that you will have to see as soon as possible, before the most epic moments are inevitably spoiled online and you get ready for season 3 of The Mandalorian.

Pixar’s latest offering, Soul, follows music teacher Joe Gardner (Jamie Foxx), who dreams of becoming a jazz performer. But before his dreams come true, an unfortunate accident leaves Joe’s soul separated from his body. Finally, he teams up with another soul, Tina Fey’s 22, and tries to return to Earth in time to reunite with her physical self. Our sister magazine Total Film gave Soul five out of five stars, so expect something special.
Burrow – December 25th

Accompanying Soul is Pixar’s new short Burrow, about a young rabbit trying to build a lair, you’ve guessed it. However, he continues to dig where he shouldn’t do it, which causes him some embarrassment. With charm, this short film is a whole hand-drawn animation, so if you’re looking for some tradition or nostalgia this Christmas day, look no further than Burrow.
Horton Hears a Who! – January 1

This animated film follows an elephant named Horton, who, when a word of dust floats through him one day, discovers a community of tiny people named Whos, from Whoville, who live in the word. Horton sets out to find a safe place to put the word on and protect the Whos, but finds trouble along the way. With a voice cast that includes characters like Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell, Selena Gomez, Fisher Island and more, this sweet film is a great choice for the holidays.
Season 2 of Earth in Ned – January 1

A very strange conversation program from the Jim Henson Company, this program causes two aliens to decide to invade Earth after developing a love for human culture. Tune in to see Ned and Cornelius interview celebrities from the bridge of their spaceship. Season 1 is already streaming, so you can catch up on all the weird fun before you start the second installment, which will see guest appearances like Rogue One’s Molly Ringwald, Kevin Smith and Alan Tudyk.
